Can you lease a used Audi?
Yes. Second Life Leasing offers pre-leased Audi cars for personal and business leasing in the UK, with full maintenance and premium replacement tyres included. Start with our current Audi stock, including the Q4 e-tron when available.
You choose a specific car with its own photographs, specification and recorded mileage. Pay an initial rental followed by monthly rentals, then return the car at the agreed end. Applications are subject to approval.
Where does my Audi come from?
Second Life Leasing’s Audis come directly from Lex Autolease, part of Lloyds Banking Group, after their first lease. Lex continues to own the car and offers it for another lease. We help you choose and arrange it; your hire agreement is with Lex Autolease.
A first lease with a known history
Lex bought the car from new and managed its first lease, with agreed mileage, servicing and return standards. That gives your next Audi a known leasing history. The individual listing and vehicle information tell you about the particular car you are considering.
Safety checks and preparation
Each car goes through safety checks and preparation for its next driver. It is still a used car, and we will highlight known minor cosmetic imperfections before you decide, so you can picture what will arrive.
What are the current Audi lease prices?
The car you choose, contract term, annual mileage and payment profile all affect the rental. Compare the initial payment as well as the monthly figure when deciding what fits your budget.

Which Audi model and version should you choose?
A3 Sportback TFSI e: a compact car with plug-in flexibility
The A3 Sportback suits you if you prefer a compact hatchback to an SUV. The 40 TFSI e and 45 TFSI e are plug-in hybrids that combine a petrol engine with an electric motor and a battery you can charge. They are worth considering for local journeys on electric power, with petrol available for longer trips. Regular charging is what makes that combination useful.
There is a practical difference from other A3s: the earlier plug-in hybrid has a 280-litre boot with the rear seats up. Try your usual luggage or pushchair against that space rather than relying on a general A3 boot figure. The A3 TFSI e was updated during its life, so an earlier car should be judged on its own battery and charging specification.
Q4 e-tron: the electric family SUV starting point
Start with the Q4 e-tron if you want a raised seating position and useful family space. The original SUV has a 520-litre boot, wide-opening doors and a rear backrest split into three sections. You can load a longer item while keeping some rear seats available. The Sportback’s sloping roof gives it a different silhouette; compare rear headroom and the shape of its loading opening if you carry bulky kit. Audi’s original interior guide explains both bodies.
Q4 versions differ in more than their power output. In the early range, the 35 has the smaller battery; the 40 and 50 use a larger one. The 35 and 40 are rear-wheel drive, while the 50 quattro has two motors and all-wheel drive. Audi’s September 2023 update brought revised motors and the 45/55 range. For a longer-distance commute, compare the actual battery, charging capability and drive layout, rather than treating every 40, 45 or 50 badge as the same generation.
Original e-tron and Q8 e-tron: larger electric SUVs
If the Q4 feels smaller than you want, compare the original Audi e-tron and its updated successor, the Q8 e-tron. Both come as upright SUVs and sloping-roof Sportbacks, with 50 and 55 quattro versions to compare. These are useful candidates when you want a larger SUV for family trips and luggage. Measure your parking space as well as thinking about passenger room.
The Q8 e-tron update, launched in Europe in 2023, changed more than the name: battery capacity, charging and the drive system were revised. The original e-tron 50 and Q8 e-tron 50 therefore need separate comparisons. For the Q8 e-tron, Audi lists a 569-litre rear boot in the SUV and 528 litres in the Sportback, plus front storage. That makes the body choice relevant even before you compare equipment.
Q6 e-tron: a newer electric SUV generation
The Q6 e-tron is worth comparing with both the Q4 and Q8 if you want an SUV with newer electric-car technology. Introduced in 2024, it uses Audi’s PPE platform and an 800-volt electrical system. Its 526-litre rear boot and 64-litre front compartment give you separate places for luggage and smaller items.
The standard, Performance and quattro versions have different battery and drive specifications to compare. If public charging is part of your weekly routine, look at the exact car’s rapid-charging capability and the chargers on your routes. An 800-volt system alone does not promise a particular charging stop: the charger, battery temperature and state of charge also matter.
A6 Sportback e-tron: an electric alternative to an SUV
Look at the A6 Sportback e-tron if you want a lower electric car with a hatchback opening. Performance and quattro versions give you different drive layouts to consider. This is the all-electric A6 generation introduced in 2024, so do not apply the specifications of an older petrol, diesel or plug-in hybrid A6 to it.
The Sportback is a useful alternative if your preference is a long-distance car with luggage access, rather than an SUV’s raised seating position. The launch-generation Performance has rear-wheel drive; quattro versions add all-wheel drive. Choose around your journeys and preferred layout, then compare the individual car’s equipment.
e-tron GT and RS e-tron GT: a sporting grand tourer
The e-tron GT is the one to explore if a low driving position and a sporting four-door shape appeal more than an SUV. The original range offers e-tron GT quattro and the higher-performance RS e-tron GT, both built around that grand-touring idea.
Think about getting in and out, rear-passenger access and the boot opening as well as the looks. Audi’s 2021 guide lists a 405-litre rear boot for the original GT quattro and 350 litres for the RS with its standard premium sound system. A shared body shape does not mean identical luggage space. Later GT updates also changed the cars, so keep the comparison within the generation you are considering.
Making sense of Audi badges and equipment
- TFSI e and e-tron: the A3 TFSI e cars above are plug-in hybrids; the Q4, original e-tron, Q8 e-tron, Q6 e-tron, A6 e-tron and GT cars discussed here are battery-electric.
- quattro: identifies all-wheel drive. Read it separately from a trim name such as Sport or S line.
- Sportback: describes different body shapes across the range. An A3 Sportback hatchback, Q4 Sportback SUV and A6 Sportback are different propositions for passengers and luggage.
Prioritise the features you will use: seats, parking cameras, phone connectivity, wheels and charging equipment. Trims and option packs changed during production, and software or connected services may depend on subscriptions. We can confirm the manufacturer’s specification and included equipment for the actual car before you order; its registration year and trim badge alone do not settle every detail.

What comes with my Audi lease?
Second Life Leasing’s full maintenance package brings the routine upkeep into your lease, helping you plan for more than the rental alone.
Servicing, maintenance and premium replacement tyres
Servicing, maintenance, replacement tyres and MOT when required are included. Replacement tyres are premium brands, with mobile fitting where possible. Collection and return for servicing and maintenance are included, subject to limitations.
Breakdown cover and road fund tax
Breakdown cover includes a replacement vehicle for up to 48 hours if needed, plus cover for driving abroad. Check the overseas arrangements with Lex before travelling. Road fund tax is included for the duration of your lease.
Online support
The Lex Vehicle Leasing app gives you a way to book servicing, request support and find your contract documents. Use the lease company’s support route for your maintained agreement.
What do I pay for separately?
Allow for insurance and fuel or charging. Your quote and agreement also explain applicable fees and contract charges, including excess mileage and damage charges. Included maintenance helps with budgeting without making every motoring cost fixed.
What happens if my Audi develops a fault?
Contact Lex Autolease through its support process. Under Second Life Leasing’s full maintenance offering, Lex arranges covered repairs in line with your agreement, so you have a clear route to getting help.
Does the manufacturer’s warranty matter?
Where an Audi manufacturer’s warranty applies, Lex handles the claim behind the scenes. Your repair support follows the maintained lease agreement; you do not need to work out the remaining manufacturer’s warranty before reporting a problem.
What about an electric Audi’s battery?
Our pre-leased battery-electric Audis come with a guaranteed minimum battery condition of 85% at delivery. That is a delivery baseline, rather than a guarantee throughout the lease or a promise of a particular driving range.
Can I choose the term and mileage?
Yes. Each car’s listing shows its available contract terms, annual mileage allowances and payment profiles. Choose mileage around your normal year, including commuting, business journeys and holidays.
The payment profile determines how much you pay initially and in subsequent rentals. Choose a term you are comfortable committing to, and review the agreement’s provisions and charges for changing or ending it early.
Personal or business leasing?
You can apply for Personal Contract Hire in your own name or Business Contract Hire for your business. The live examples in this guide are personal rentals including VAT, even if you are browsing in Business mode. Select Business to explore business prices on the stock pages, or ask us for the appropriate quote.
Why choose a pre-leased Audi?
More of the car you want within your budget
A pre-leased Audi has already been through its initial depreciation. Leasing it at its used value can mean a lower rental than leasing new, with the individual quote showing what that means for your chosen car. You can put the rental alongside your other regular costs and decide whether the whole package works for you.
Giving an electric Audi another lease of life
Choosing a pre-leased Q4 e-tron keeps an existing electric car and its battery in use. Battery-electric Audis produce no tailpipe emissions while driving. Manufacturing and charging electricity still contribute to their overall footprint.
UK government guidance explains that a typical electric car has lower lifetime greenhouse-gas emissions than an equivalent petrol car, including battery production and disposal. That is general EV evidence, rather than a measured saving for an individual used Audi.
A scheduled return without finding a buyer
At the agreed end, return the Audi subject to the mileage and condition terms. Lex owns and resells it and takes the resale-value risk. You can choose your next car without arranging a private sale or negotiating a part-exchange.
How do I arrange my Audi lease?
- Tell us which Audi interests you. We will help you choose from the available cars and confirm the details that matter to you.
- Review your quote. We will place a temporary reservation while you look through the figures.
- Complete the paperwork online. We will guide you through the credit application and your agreement with Lex Autolease.
- Take delivery. Once your application is approved and the car is ready, we will arrange included mainland UK delivery to your door.
