Can you lease a used Jaguar?
Yes. Second Life Leasing offers pre-leased Jaguar cars for personal and business leasing in the UK, with full maintenance and premium replacement tyres included. Browse our current Jaguar stock to explore the exact model, equipment and lease options for each available car.
You choose a specific car with its own photographs, specification and recorded mileage. Pay an initial rental followed by monthly rentals, then return the car at the agreed end. Applications are subject to approval.
Where does my Jaguar come from?
Second Life Leasing’s Jaguar cars come directly from Lex Autolease, part of Lloyds Banking Group, after their first lease. Lex continues to own the car and offers it for another lease. We help you choose and arrange it; your hire agreement is with Lex Autolease.
A first lease with a known history
Lex bought the car from new and managed its first lease, with agreed mileage, servicing and return standards. That gives your next Jaguar a known leasing history. The individual listing and vehicle information tell you about the particular car you are considering.
Safety checks and preparation
Each car goes through safety checks and preparation for its next driver. It is still a used car, and we will highlight known minor cosmetic imperfections before you decide, so you can picture what will arrive.
What are the current Jaguar lease prices?
The car you choose, contract term, annual mileage and payment profile all affect the rental. Compare the initial payment as well as the monthly figure when deciding what fits your budget.

Which Jaguar model and version should you choose?
I-Pace: the fully electric Jaguar SUV
The I-Pace is the starting point if you want a battery-electric Jaguar. Its cab-forward body and rear hatch give it a different shape from the more conventional F-Pace SUV. Compare the seating position, rear-door access and room for your normal luggage before deciding which shape you prefer.
The EV400 I-Pace uses two electric motors and all-wheel drive. The EV400 designation describes the powertrain; it is not a promise of a 400-mile driving range. Choose the battery-electric car around your regular journeys and charging opportunities, then compare the equipment in SE, HSE, Black, Sport or R-Dynamic versions. The trim name alone does not tell you which extra comfort or assistance features were specified.
I-Pace updates: charging hardware and cabin controls
Jaguar’s June 2020 update introduced Pivi Pro infotainment and an 11kW onboard AC charger. Those changes are useful when comparing later used cars with older descriptions of the I-Pace.
An 11kW onboard charger does not turn a normal single-phase home supply into an 11kW charging point. That output requires a compatible three-phase supply and charge point. Confirm the actual car’s hardware and the charging equipment you will use, rather than treating the onboard rating as the speed you will get everywhere. Try the navigation and phone connection too: the controls are something you will use much more often than a headline performance figure.
The 2023 I-Pace refresh: more than a trim label
The January 2023 update brought a smoother grille and revised exterior detailing, alongside R-Dynamic models. Use the car’s photographs and specification to identify the version, especially around a changeover period. A registration date alone is not the same thing as a model year.
If you are comparing an earlier HSE Black with a later R-Dynamic SE Black, begin with your priorities: seat adjustment, parking cameras, wheel size and the equipment you will use on a normal drive. A newer-looking grille is easy to spot, but it does not establish every difference between the two cars.
F-Pace P400e: a plug-in hybrid alternative
The F-Pace P400e is a different way into a maintained Jaguar lease. It combines a four-cylinder petrol engine with a rechargeable electric system and all-wheel drive; Jaguar’s 2021-model launch information explains that powertrain. It gives you petrol for longer journeys alongside electric driving when charged.
Compare the F-Pace if its more upright SUV shape appeals or you want that petrol-and-electric flexibility. Make regular plugging-in part of the decision; the P400e is a plug-in hybrid, not a battery-electric I-Pace. Check luggage capacity for the P400e specifically, because figures for another F-Pace powertrain need not describe the space in this car.
Choose the equipment you will use
For a Jaguar, compare the actual seat specification and parking equipment before choosing on trim alone. Check any panoramic roof, heated-seat functions, wheel size and connected services you want against the vehicle’s equipment list; Black and R-Dynamic naming does not make every car identical.
Equipment and charging specifications can change during production. Confirm the manufacturer’s specification, fitted options, cables and any connected-service subscriptions for the actual car before ordering; registration year and trim name alone do not tell the whole story.

What comes with my Jaguar lease?
Second Life Leasing’s full maintenance package brings the routine upkeep into your lease, helping you plan for more than the rental alone.
Servicing, maintenance and premium replacement tyres
Servicing, maintenance, replacement tyres and MOT when required are included. Replacement tyres are premium brands, with mobile fitting where possible. Collection and return for servicing and maintenance are included, subject to limitations.
Breakdown cover and road fund tax
Breakdown cover includes a replacement vehicle for up to 48 hours if needed, plus cover for driving abroad. Check the overseas arrangements with Lex before travelling. Road fund tax is included for the duration of your lease.
Online support
The Lex Vehicle Leasing app gives you a way to book servicing, request support and find your contract documents. Use the lease company’s support route for your maintained agreement.
What do I pay for separately?
Allow for insurance and fuel or charging. Your quote and agreement also explain applicable fees and contract charges, including excess mileage and damage charges. Included maintenance helps with budgeting without making every motoring cost fixed.
What happens if my Jaguar develops a fault?
Contact Lex Autolease through its support process. Under Second Life Leasing’s full maintenance offering, Lex arranges covered repairs in line with your agreement, so you have a clear route to getting help.
Does the manufacturer’s warranty matter?
Where a manufacturer’s warranty applies, Lex handles the claim behind the scenes. Your repair support follows the maintained lease agreement; you do not need to work out the remaining manufacturer’s warranty before reporting a problem.
What about an electric Jaguar’s battery?
Our pre-leased battery-electric Jaguar cars come with a guaranteed minimum battery condition of 85% at delivery. That is a delivery baseline, rather than a guarantee throughout the lease or a promise of a particular driving range.
Can I choose the term and mileage?
Yes. Each car’s listing shows its available contract terms, annual mileage allowances and payment profiles. Choose mileage around your normal year, including commuting, business journeys and holidays.
The payment profile determines how much you pay initially and in subsequent rentals. Choose a term you are comfortable committing to, and review the agreement’s provisions and charges for changing or ending it early.
Personal or business leasing?
You can apply for Personal Contract Hire in your own name or Business Contract Hire for your business. The live examples in this guide are personal rentals including VAT, even if you are browsing in Business mode. Select Business to explore business prices on the stock pages, or ask us for the appropriate quote.
Why choose a pre-leased Jaguar?
More of the car you want within your budget
Jaguar gives you a choice between the distinctive fully electric I-Pace and the more conventional SUV shape of the F-Pace plug-in hybrid. A pre-leased Jaguar has already been through its initial depreciation. Leasing it at its used value can mean a lower rental than leasing new, with the individual quote showing what that means for your chosen car. You can put the rental alongside your other regular costs and decide whether the whole package works for you.
Giving an electric Jaguar another lease of life
Choosing a pre-leased battery-electric Jaguar keeps an existing car and its battery in use. Battery-electric Jaguar cars produce no tailpipe emissions while driving. Manufacturing and charging electricity still contribute to their overall footprint.
UK government guidance explains that a typical electric car has lower lifetime greenhouse-gas emissions than an equivalent petrol car, including battery production and disposal. That is general EV evidence, rather than a measured saving for an individual used Jaguar.
A scheduled return without finding a buyer
At the agreed end, return the Jaguar subject to the mileage and condition terms. Lex owns and resells it and takes the resale-value risk. You can choose your next car without arranging a private sale or negotiating a part-exchange.
How do I arrange my Jaguar lease?
- Tell us which Jaguar interests you. We will help you choose from the available cars and confirm the details that matter to you.
- Review your quote. We will place a temporary reservation while you look through the figures.
- Complete the paperwork online. We will guide you through the credit application and your agreement with Lex Autolease.
- Take delivery. Once your application is approved and the car is ready, we will arrange included mainland UK delivery to your door.
