Can you lease a used Peugeot?
Yes. Second Life Leasing offers pre-leased Peugeot cars for personal and business leasing in the UK, with full maintenance and premium replacement tyres included. Browse our current Peugeot listings for individual cars and their available lease options.
You choose a specific car with its own photographs, specification and recorded mileage. Pay an initial rental followed by monthly rentals, then return the car at the agreed end. Applications are subject to approval.
Where does my Peugeot come from?
Second Life Leasing’s Peugeot cars come directly from Lex Autolease, part of Lloyds Banking Group, after their first lease. Lex continues to own the car and offers it for another lease. We help you choose and arrange it; your hire agreement is with Lex Autolease.
A first lease with a known history
Lex bought the car from new and managed its first lease, with agreed mileage, servicing and return standards. That gives your next Peugeot a known leasing history. The individual listing and vehicle information tell you about the particular car you are considering.
Safety checks and preparation
Each car goes through safety checks and preparation for its next driver. It is still a used car, and we will highlight known minor cosmetic imperfections before you decide, so you can picture what will arrive.
What are the current Peugeot lease prices?
The car you choose, contract term, annual mileage and payment profile all affect the rental. Compare the initial payment as well as the monthly figure when deciding what fits your budget.

Which Peugeot model and version should you choose?
E-208: the compact electric hatchback
The E-208 is the starting point if you want a small electric car for commuting, town driving and everyday errands. Its hatchback body keeps the choice different from the taller E-2008. Compare getting into the rear and loading your usual bags before deciding you need the larger body.
The 2022 and early 2023 cars discussed here use the 100kW motor and 50kWh battery combination described in Peugeot’s 2022 update. Later E-208s brought other powertrain choices. An Allure Premium, Premium+ or GT badge therefore needs reading alongside the motor, battery and generation rather than standing in for them.
E-2008: a taller alternative for passengers and luggage
The E-2008 offers a compact SUV body if you prefer a higher seating position. For a family, the useful comparison with an E-208 is rear access and the shape of the luggage area. Try the pushchair, dog crate or sports bags you normally carry, including the height you need to lift them over the boot sill.
Peugeot’s 2022 E-2008 announcement also identifies a 100kW motor and 50kWh battery. The shared electric specification does not make it the same car as the E-208 for space or use. Equally, do not apply a later facelift’s charging or battery figures to an earlier GT or GT Premium.
E-3008: the larger electric fastback SUV
The E-3008 belongs to a newer electric SUV generation, with a sloping fastback roof and a different platform from the smaller cars. The launch UK version uses a 157kW motor and 73kWh usable battery, as Peugeot’s UK introduction explains. It is distinct from an older 3008 plug-in hybrid.
Consider it if passengers and longer journeys justify a larger car. Check rear headroom, the load opening and how the wider body fits your parking place. The Allure and GT cabin specifications differ, so a panoramic-screen photograph from a top-trim demonstration does not establish what is fitted to an Allure.
Try the i-Cockpit driving position
Peugeot’s i-Cockpit layout places a compact steering wheel below the instruments. Set the seat and wheel as you would use them and make sure the display is comfortable to read. That personal fit matters more than choosing by dashboard appearance alone.
The interface evolved across these generations. Compare the actual screen, climate controls and phone connection, rather than assuming the newest E-3008 demonstration also describes an earlier E-208.
Choose the equipment you will use
Allure Premium, Premium+, GT and GT Premium changed over time and between models. Prioritise a clear instrument view, seat comfort and parking aids, then verify cameras, driver assistance and charging cables on the individual car. A higher trim cannot compensate for a driving position or luggage opening that does not suit you.
Equipment and charging specifications can change during production. Confirm the manufacturer’s specification, fitted options, cables and any connected-service subscriptions for the actual car before ordering; registration year and trim name alone do not tell the whole story.

What comes with my Peugeot lease?
Second Life Leasing’s full maintenance package brings the routine upkeep into your lease, helping you plan for more than the rental alone.
Servicing, maintenance and premium replacement tyres
Servicing, maintenance, replacement tyres and MOT when required are included. Replacement tyres are premium brands, with mobile fitting where possible. Collection and return for servicing and maintenance are included, subject to limitations.
Breakdown cover and road fund tax
Breakdown cover includes a replacement vehicle for up to 48 hours if needed, plus cover for driving abroad. Check the overseas arrangements with Lex before travelling. Road fund tax is included for the duration of your lease.
Online support
The Lex Vehicle Leasing app gives you a way to book servicing, request support and find your contract documents. Use the lease company’s support route for your maintained agreement.
What do I pay for separately?
Allow for insurance and fuel or charging. Your quote and agreement also explain applicable fees and contract charges, including excess mileage and damage charges. Included maintenance helps with budgeting without making every motoring cost fixed.
What happens if my Peugeot develops a fault?
Contact Lex Autolease through its support process. Under Second Life Leasing’s full maintenance offering, Lex arranges covered repairs in line with your agreement, so you have a clear route to getting help.
Does the manufacturer’s warranty matter?
Where a manufacturer’s warranty applies, Lex handles the claim behind the scenes. Your repair support follows the maintained lease agreement; you do not need to work out the remaining manufacturer’s warranty before reporting a problem.
What about an electric Peugeot’s battery?
Our pre-leased battery-electric Peugeot cars come with a guaranteed minimum battery condition of 85% at delivery. That is a delivery baseline, rather than a guarantee throughout the lease or a promise of a particular driving range.
Can I choose the term and mileage?
Yes. Each car’s listing shows its available contract terms, annual mileage allowances and payment profiles. Choose mileage around your normal year, including commuting, business journeys and holidays.
The payment profile determines how much you pay initially and in subsequent rentals. Choose a term you are comfortable committing to, and review the agreement’s provisions and charges for changing or ending it early.
Personal or business leasing?
You can apply for Personal Contract Hire in your own name or Business Contract Hire for your business. The live examples in this guide are personal rentals including VAT, even if you are browsing in Business mode. Select Business to explore business prices on the stock pages, or ask us for the appropriate quote.
Why choose a pre-leased Peugeot?
More of the car you want within your budget
Peugeot offers a clear choice between a small hatchback, a compact raised-seat SUV and a larger electric fastback SUV, making a body-style comparison worthwhile before choosing trim. A pre-leased Peugeot has already been through its initial depreciation. Leasing it at its used value can mean a lower rental than leasing new, with the individual quote showing what that means for your chosen car. You can put the rental alongside your other regular costs and decide whether the whole package works for you.
Giving an electric Peugeot another lease of life
Choosing a pre-leased battery-electric Peugeot keeps an existing car and its battery in use. Battery-electric Peugeot cars produce no tailpipe emissions while driving. Manufacturing and charging electricity still contribute to their overall footprint.
UK government guidance explains that a typical electric car has lower lifetime greenhouse-gas emissions than an equivalent petrol car, including battery production and disposal. That is general EV evidence, rather than a measured saving for an individual used Peugeot.
A scheduled return without finding a buyer
At the agreed end, return the Peugeot subject to the mileage and condition terms. Lex owns and resells it and takes the resale-value risk. You can choose your next car without arranging a private sale or negotiating a part-exchange.
