Can you lease a used Porsche?
Yes. Second Life Leasing offers pre-leased Porsche cars for personal and business leasing in the UK, with full maintenance and premium replacement tyres included. Compare our Porsche lease stock if you are choosing between an electric Taycan and a plug-in hybrid Panamera.
You choose a specific car with its own photographs, specification and recorded mileage. Pay an initial rental followed by monthly rentals, then return the car at the agreed end. Applications are subject to approval.
Where does my Porsche come from?
Second Life Leasing’s Porsche cars come directly from Lex Autolease, part of Lloyds Banking Group, after their first lease. Lex continues to own the car and offers it for another lease. We help you choose and arrange it; your hire agreement is with Lex Autolease.
A first lease with a known history
Lex bought the car from new and managed its first lease, with agreed mileage, servicing and return standards. That gives your next Porsche a known leasing history. The individual listing and vehicle information tell you about the particular car you are considering.
Safety checks and preparation
Each car goes through safety checks and preparation for its next driver. It is still a used car, and we will highlight known minor cosmetic imperfections before you decide, so you can picture what will arrive.
What are the current Porsche lease prices?
The car you choose, contract term, annual mileage and payment profile all affect the rental. Compare the initial payment as well as the monthly figure when deciding what fits your budget.

Which Porsche model and version should you choose?
Taycan: an electric sports saloon
The Taycan suits you if the low seating position and shape of a sports saloon appeal more than a tall SUV. The original rear-wheel-drive Taycan has one electric motor driving the rear axle. Porsche offered two battery choices: the standard Performance Battery and the larger Performance Battery Plus. An early car advertised simply as “Taycan” therefore still needs a battery comparison.
The original model’s standard battery was 79.2kWh gross. Use that figure to identify the version, rather than treating it as usable energy or a guaranteed driving distance. For everyday use, think about the longer journey you repeat and where you would recharge afterwards. Paying for a larger battery makes most sense when you will use the extra flexibility.
Keep early and updated Taycans separate
A 2022 Taycan belongs to the earlier generation of battery and charging specifications. Porsche made an extensive update for 2024, including battery and charging improvements. Those later figures should not be applied to an earlier car with a similar badge.
Compare the actual car’s charging hardware and installed software with the chargers you expect to use. A high headline charging rate is a capability under suitable conditions, rather than the speed you will see throughout every stop. Battery temperature, charge level and the charger itself all affect the result. The straightforward choice is the version that suits your regular trips, rather than the newest number on a specification sheet.
Panamera 4S E-Hybrid: electric local trips and petrol for longer journeys
The Panamera 4S E-Hybrid combines a petrol engine with an electric motor and a battery you can plug in. It is the alternative if you want electric driving for suitable local journeys while retaining petrol for longer travel. Make charging part of the routine: the plug-in arrangement is most useful when the battery regularly gets replenished.
The third-generation 4S E-Hybrid introduced in 2024 has a revised hybrid system, including a larger battery than its predecessor and an 11kW AC on-board charger. Confirm the generation before comparing two cars called 4S E-Hybrid. Do not borrow the electric range or charging specification of the newer model for an older Panamera.
Choose around passengers, luggage and parking
The Panamera’s large rear hatch is worth trying with the luggage you carry most often; a Taycan saloon has a different loading opening. Both have lower seating positions than the SUVs elsewhere in this guide collection. If getting in and out easily matters, allow time to try the seat height rather than choosing from exterior photographs alone.
Check rear legroom with the front seat in your driving position and put your usual bags or pushchair through the opening. For a long car, the driveway and garage entrance matter too. Porsche’s 2024 Panamera technical data provides body dimensions to compare with your parking space; allow additional room to open the doors comfortably.
Choose the equipment you will use
On a Porsche, fitted options can change the experience as much as a trim badge. Prioritise the seats you find comfortable, parking cameras for your usual spaces, and suspension or wheel choices that suit the roads you drive. Confirm the actual rear-seat arrangement before assuming a car will carry five people; a five-seat listing does not make every Porsche a five-seater.
Equipment and charging specifications can change during production. Confirm the manufacturer’s specification, fitted options, cables and any connected-service subscriptions for the actual car before ordering; registration year and trim name alone do not tell the whole story.

What comes with my Porsche lease?
Second Life Leasing’s full maintenance package brings the routine upkeep into your lease, helping you plan for more than the rental alone.
Servicing, maintenance and premium replacement tyres
Servicing, maintenance, replacement tyres and MOT when required are included. Replacement tyres are premium brands, with mobile fitting where possible. Collection and return for servicing and maintenance are included, subject to limitations.
Breakdown cover and road fund tax
Breakdown cover includes a replacement vehicle for up to 48 hours if needed, plus cover for driving abroad. Check the overseas arrangements with Lex before travelling. Road fund tax is included for the duration of your lease.
Online support
The Lex Vehicle Leasing app gives you a way to book servicing, request support and find your contract documents. Use the lease company’s support route for your maintained agreement.
What do I pay for separately?
Allow for insurance and fuel or charging. Your quote and agreement also explain applicable fees and contract charges, including excess mileage and damage charges. Included maintenance helps with budgeting without making every motoring cost fixed.
What happens if my Porsche develops a fault?
Contact Lex Autolease through its support process. Under Second Life Leasing’s full maintenance offering, Lex arranges covered repairs in line with your agreement, so you have a clear route to getting help.
Does the manufacturer’s warranty matter?
Where a manufacturer’s warranty applies, Lex handles the claim behind the scenes. Your repair support follows the maintained lease agreement; you do not need to work out the remaining manufacturer’s warranty before reporting a problem.
What about an electric Porsche’s battery?
Our pre-leased battery-electric Porsche cars come with a guaranteed minimum battery condition of 85% at delivery. That is a delivery baseline, rather than a guarantee throughout the lease or a promise of a particular driving range.
Can I choose the term and mileage?
Yes. Each car’s listing shows its available contract terms, annual mileage allowances and payment profiles. Choose mileage around your normal year, including commuting, business journeys and holidays.
The payment profile determines how much you pay initially and in subsequent rentals. Choose a term you are comfortable committing to, and review the agreement’s provisions and charges for changing or ending it early.
Personal or business leasing?
You can apply for Personal Contract Hire in your own name or Business Contract Hire for your business. The live examples in this guide are personal rentals including VAT, even if you are browsing in Business mode. Select Business to explore business prices on the stock pages, or ask us for the appropriate quote.
Why choose a pre-leased Porsche?
More of the car you want within your budget
The useful Porsche decision is between a fully electric sports saloon and a petrol-electric grand tourer, with the maintained lease covering routine upkeep. A pre-leased Porsche has already been through its initial depreciation. Leasing it at its used value can mean a lower rental than leasing new, with the individual quote showing what that means for your chosen car. You can put the rental alongside your other regular costs and decide whether the whole package works for you.
Giving an electric Porsche another lease of life
Choosing a pre-leased battery-electric Porsche keeps an existing car and its battery in use. Battery-electric Porsche cars produce no tailpipe emissions while driving. Manufacturing and charging electricity still contribute to their overall footprint.
UK government guidance explains that a typical electric car has lower lifetime greenhouse-gas emissions than an equivalent petrol car, including battery production and disposal. That is general EV evidence, rather than a measured saving for an individual used Porsche.
A scheduled return without finding a buyer
At the agreed end, return the Porsche subject to the mileage and condition terms. Lex owns and resells it and takes the resale-value risk. You can choose your next car without arranging a private sale or negotiating a part-exchange.
