Can you lease a used Vauxhall?
Yes. Second Life Leasing offers pre-leased Vauxhall cars for personal and business leasing in the UK, with full maintenance and premium replacement tyres included. Explore Vauxhall stock to compare an electric Corsa, a Mokka crossover or a larger Vivaro Life passenger vehicle.
You choose a specific car with its own photographs, specification and recorded mileage. Pay an initial rental followed by monthly rentals, then return the car at the agreed end. Applications are subject to approval.
Where does my Vauxhall come from?
Second Life Leasing’s Vauxhall cars come directly from Lex Autolease, part of Lloyds Banking Group, after their first lease. Lex continues to own the car and offers it for another lease. We help you choose and arrange it; your hire agreement is with Lex Autolease.
A first lease with a known history
Lex bought the car from new and managed its first lease, with agreed mileage, servicing and return standards. That gives your next Vauxhall a known leasing history. The individual listing and vehicle information tell you about the particular car you are considering.
Safety checks and preparation
Each car goes through safety checks and preparation for its next driver. It is still a used car, and we will highlight known minor cosmetic imperfections before you decide, so you can picture what will arrive.
What are the current Vauxhall lease prices?
The car you choose, contract term, annual mileage and payment profile all affect the rental. Compare the initial payment as well as the monthly figure when deciding what fits your budget.

Which Vauxhall model and version should you choose?
Corsa-e and Corsa Electric: the compact hatchback
The electric Corsa is the starting point if you want a conventional five-door hatchback for local trips and commuting. It takes up less space than a people carrier and is worth considering when easy parking matters more than a tall driving position. Try rear-seat access if you regularly carry children or adults, rather than judging practicality from the number of doors alone.
The earlier Corsa-e uses a 50kWh battery and 100kW motor. The later Corsa Electric name and updated styling do not by themselves identify a larger battery. Check the complete derivative: a car described as 100kW/50kWh needs that version’s specification, even if its registration is newer.
Mokka-e: a crossover alternative
The Mokka-e is worth comparing with the Corsa if you prefer its crossover shape and seating position. Early electric Mokkas use the same headline 50kWh battery and 100kW motor combination, but they are a different body. That does not mean the cars have identical luggage space, passenger access or driving range.
Vauxhall’s original Mokka press kit explains the electric version and its cabin layout. Sit in both cars, compare your view when manoeuvring and try the boot with your usual load. If the Corsa already carries everything comfortably, the Mokka’s styling and access may matter more than expecting a large jump in carrying capacity.
Vivaro-e Life: passenger space is the main attraction
The Vivaro-e Life, also described as Vivaro Life Electric, is a different proposition from either small car. Its people-carrier body is for someone who regularly needs more passenger room or a particular seating layout. Confirm the number and arrangement of seats, access to the rear rows and how much luggage space remains when the seats you need are occupied.
The original 50kWh Vivaro-e Life should be assessed on its own charging and battery specification. Later versions introduced a different battery offering, so do not apply a current model’s advertised range to an earlier car. An L body also deserves a driveway and parking-height check before you decide.
Separate AC charging from rapid charging
An “11kW charger” description refers to the car’s AC on-board charger, rather than its maximum DC rapid-charging rate. Vauxhall’s Corsa charging tables distinguish the 7.4kW and 11kW AC versions. An 11kW-capable car needs an appropriate supply to use that capability; it will not turn an ordinary home connection into a faster charger.
For overnight home charging, compare the car with the supply you can install. For public charging, check the connectors and AC or DC capability at the places you actually stop. This is particularly useful when choosing a larger Vivaro Life: a passenger layout that suits the family needs a charging routine that works for the same journeys.
Choose the equipment you will use
Elite Premium, SRi Premium, GS Line and Ultimate belong to different points in Vauxhall’s equipment history. Compare the actual seats, parking sensors or cameras, headlights and infotainment, rather than ranking trim names across years. The car’s battery and on-board charger should be checked separately from its equipment grade.
Equipment and charging specifications can change during production. Confirm the manufacturer’s specification, fitted options, cables and any connected-service subscriptions for the actual car before ordering; registration year and trim name alone do not tell the whole story.

What comes with my Vauxhall lease?
Second Life Leasing’s full maintenance package brings the routine upkeep into your lease, helping you plan for more than the rental alone.
Servicing, maintenance and premium replacement tyres
Servicing, maintenance, replacement tyres and MOT when required are included. Replacement tyres are premium brands, with mobile fitting where possible. Collection and return for servicing and maintenance are included, subject to limitations.
Breakdown cover and road fund tax
Breakdown cover includes a replacement vehicle for up to 48 hours if needed, plus cover for driving abroad. Check the overseas arrangements with Lex before travelling. Road fund tax is included for the duration of your lease.
Online support
The Lex Vehicle Leasing app gives you a way to book servicing, request support and find your contract documents. Use the lease company’s support route for your maintained agreement.
What do I pay for separately?
Allow for insurance and fuel or charging. Your quote and agreement also explain applicable fees and contract charges, including excess mileage and damage charges. Included maintenance helps with budgeting without making every motoring cost fixed.
What happens if my Vauxhall develops a fault?
Contact Lex Autolease through its support process. Under Second Life Leasing’s full maintenance offering, Lex arranges covered repairs in line with your agreement, so you have a clear route to getting help.
Does the manufacturer’s warranty matter?
Where a manufacturer’s warranty applies, Lex handles the claim behind the scenes. Your repair support follows the maintained lease agreement; you do not need to work out the remaining manufacturer’s warranty before reporting a problem.
What about an electric Vauxhall’s battery?
Our pre-leased battery-electric Vauxhall cars come with a guaranteed minimum battery condition of 85% at delivery. That is a delivery baseline, rather than a guarantee throughout the lease or a promise of a particular driving range.
Can I choose the term and mileage?
Yes. Each car’s listing shows its available contract terms, annual mileage allowances and payment profiles. Choose mileage around your normal year, including commuting, business journeys and holidays.
The payment profile determines how much you pay initially and in subsequent rentals. Choose a term you are comfortable committing to, and review the agreement’s provisions and charges for changing or ending it early.
Personal or business leasing?
You can apply for Personal Contract Hire in your own name or Business Contract Hire for your business. The live examples in this guide are personal rentals including VAT, even if you are browsing in Business mode. Select Business to explore business prices on the stock pages, or ask us for the appropriate quote.
Why choose a pre-leased Vauxhall?
More of the car you want within your budget
Vauxhall’s electric choices cover very different jobs, from a compact Corsa for everyday trips to a Vivaro Life for carrying more people. A pre-leased Vauxhall has already been through its initial depreciation. Leasing it at its used value can mean a lower rental than leasing new, with the individual quote showing what that means for your chosen car. You can put the rental alongside your other regular costs and decide whether the whole package works for you.
Giving an electric Vauxhall another lease of life
Choosing a pre-leased battery-electric Vauxhall keeps an existing car and its battery in use. Battery-electric Vauxhall cars produce no tailpipe emissions while driving. Manufacturing and charging electricity still contribute to their overall footprint.
UK government guidance explains that a typical electric car has lower lifetime greenhouse-gas emissions than an equivalent petrol car, including battery production and disposal. That is general EV evidence, rather than a measured saving for an individual used Vauxhall.
A scheduled return without finding a buyer
At the agreed end, return the Vauxhall subject to the mileage and condition terms. Lex owns and resells it and takes the resale-value risk. You can choose your next car without arranging a private sale or negotiating a part-exchange.
How do I arrange my Vauxhall lease?
- Tell us which Vauxhall interests you. We will help you choose from the available cars and confirm the details that matter to you.
- Review your quote. We will place a temporary reservation while you look through the figures.
- Complete the paperwork online. We will guide you through the credit application and your agreement with Lex Autolease.
- Take delivery. Once your application is approved and the car is ready, we will arrange included mainland UK delivery to your door.
